Screw Lugs-  Not all watches use spring bars.  Many expensive watches, such as Cartier, Gucci and others, use lugs.  For these watches, the case is attached to the center of the strap, held in place by a lug which threads through both case and strap and is locked in place with a screw.  Individual sizes are shown below.
