UltraLite Kiln
|
|
The UltraLite Beehive
Jewelry Kiln was originally developed for fine metals
granulation and enameling, but is the perfect choice for firing
metal clay products or Keum-boo. The kiln heats quickly
and thoroughly. The firing surface is 3" in diameter by 1½"
high and the element produces a working temperature of 1550° F.
Kiln body consists of high insulating ceramic fiber. Comes
with standard 15" cord and stainless steel working spatula.
Complete instructions included. Optional red brass covers
specially designed for Keum-boo can be inserted above the
element of the UltraLite kiln to moderate heat inside the kiln.
One plate for flat pieces, the other with a depression allows
for nonflat pieces. Optional three piece textured Ceramic
Disc Set is specially designed to be inserted in the UltraLite
kiln for firing metal clay. With the ceramic insert, the
kiln heats quickly and evenly. Made in the USA.
Recommended for professional adult use only. Size 5½ x 5½
x 6½ ".
