Precision Lathe
For watchmakers, clockmakers and jewelers. A precision lathe at an affordable price. Comes with a 3 jaw chuck, adjustable tool tailstock and a fully adjustable tool holder/slide rest. Tailstock is supplied with a dead center but can be easily fitted with a live center. An 8 mm watchmaker collet holder for WW pattern collets is available as well as precision collets and collet holder. The tailstock and headstock can both hold any of the available chucks (3 jaw, 4 jaw etc.) or an 8 mm drill chuck. A 2 speed motor and 4 different motor pulley ratios allow for 8 spindle speeds: 130, 200, 350, 560, 920, 1,500, 2,450, 2,450 and 4,000 RPM's. Multiple speeds plus high stability make this lathe perfect for texturing, lathe millgraining, wedding ring tube cutting and channel cutting Most of these processes require the use of an SV-12 collet expander and collets. ). Comes mounted on a sturdy base.
